[E allora] ti avremmo fatto soffrire un doppio [supplizio] nella vita e un doppio [supplizio] nella morte, quindi non avresti trovato chi ti sarebbe stato d’ausilio contro di Noi.

ولو رَكَنت -أيها الرسول- إلى هؤلاء المشركين ركونًا قليلا فيما سألوك، إذًا لأذقناك مِثْلَي عذاب الحياة في الدنيا ومثْلَي عذاب الممات في الآخرة؛ وذلك لتمام نعمة الله عليك وكمال معرفتك بربك، ثم لا تجد أحدًا ينصرك ويدفع عنك عذابنا.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
