[Questa è] una sura che abbiamo rivelato e imposto e per mezzo della quale abbiamo fatto scendere segni inequivocabili perché possiate comprendere.

آیت 1 سُوْرَۃٌ اَنْزَلْنٰہَا وَفَرَضْنٰہَا ”سورت کے آغاز کا یہ انداز تمام سورتوں میں منفرد ہے۔ ”سُوْرَۃٌ“ کا لفظ یہاں پر بطور اسم نکرہ استعمال ہوا ہے۔ اس کو اگر تفخیم کے لیے مانا جائے تو اس کے معنی یوں ہوں گے کہ یہ ایک عظیم سورت ہے۔
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
