ولكن -مع هذا- قال تعالى محذرا لهم وقوع ما استعجلوه:{ قُلْ عَسَى أَنْ يَكُونَ رَدِفَ لَكُمْ } أي: قرب منكم وأوشك أن يقع بكم { بَعْضُ الَّذِي تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ } من العذاب.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
