Non gli è servito da lezione che prima di loro abbiamo fatto perire tante generazioni, nelle cui case [in rovina] si aggirano? In verità in ciò vi sono segni. Non ascolteranno dunque?

( أولم يهد ) لم يتبين ( لهم كم أهلكنا من قبلهم من القرون يمشون في مساكنهم إن في ذلك لآيات أفلا يسمعون ) آيات الله وعظاته فيتعظون بها .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
