Se ti trattano da bugiardo, [sappi che] trattarono da bugiardi i Profeti che vennero prima di te 1 , che avevano portato prove chiarissime, il Salterio e il Libro che illumina 2 “.

( فإن كذبوك فقد كذب رسل من قبلك جاءوا بالبينات والزبر ) قرأ ابن عامر " وبالزبر " أي : بالكتب المزبورة يعني : المكتوبة ، واحدها زبور مثل : رسول ورسل ، ( والكتاب المنير ) الواضح المضيء .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
