Se si allontanano, di’ loro: «Vi dò l’avvertimento di una folgore 1 , uguale alla folgore [che colpì] gli ‘Âd e i Thamùd».

يقول تعالى : قل يا محمد لهؤلاء المشركين المكذبين بما جئتهم به من الحق : إن أعرضتم عما جئتكم به من عند الله فإني أنذركم حلول نقمة الله بكم ، كما حلت بالأمم الماضين من المكذبين بالمرسلين ( صاعقة مثل صاعقة عاد وثمود ) أي : ومن شاكلهما ممن فعل كفعلهما .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
