E chi è più sviato di colui che invoca, all’infuori di Allah, chi non saprà rispondergli fino al Giorno della Resurrezione? Essi non hanno neppure coscienza dell’invocazione che viene loro rivolta,

( ومن أضل ممن يدعو من دون الله من لا يستجيب له ) يعني الأصنام لا تجيب عابديها إلى شيء يسألونها ( إلى يوم القيامة ) أبدا ما دامت الدنيا ( وهم عن دعائهم غافلون ) لأنها جماد لا تسمع ولا تفهم .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
