O voi che credete, non vietate le cose buone che Allah vi ha reso lecite. Non eccedete. In verità Allah non ama coloro che eccedono 1 .

يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تحرِّموا طيبات أحلَّها الله لكم من المطاعم والمشارب ونكاح النساء، فتضيقوا ما وسَّع الله عليكم، ولا تتجاوزوا حدود ما حرَّم الله. إن الله لا يحب المعتدين.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
