Di’: «Pensate che, se vi giungesse il castigo di Allah o l’Ora, invochereste qualcun altro oltre ad Allah? [Ditelo], se siete sinceri!

يقول تعالى لرسوله:{ قُلْ } للمشركين بالله، العادلين به غيره:{ أَرَأَيْتَكُمْ إِنْ أَتَاكُمْ عَذَابُ اللَّهِ أَوْ أَتَتْكُمُ السَّاعَةُ أَغَيْرَ اللَّهِ تَدْعُونَ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ } أي: إذا حصلت هذه المشقات، وهذه الكروب، التي يضطر إلى دفعها، هل تدعون آلهتكم وأصنامكم، أم تدعون ربكم الملك الحق المبين.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
