E quando elevammo il Monte sopra di loro, come fosse un baldacchino, e temevano che sarebbe rovinato loro addosso, [dicemmo]: «Afferrate con forza ciò che vi abbiamo dato e ricordatevi di quel che contiene. Forse sarete timorati».

قوله تعالى وإذ نتقنا الجبل فوقهم كأنه ظلة وظنوا أنه واقع بهم خذوا ما آتيناكم بقوة واذكروا ما فيه لعلكم تتقون قوله تعالى وإذ نتقنا الجبل نتقنا معناه رفعنا . وقد تقدم بيانه في " البقرة " كأنه ظلة أي كأنه لارتفاعه سحابة تظل .خذوا ما آتيناكم بقوة أي بجد . وقد مضى في " البقرة " . إلى آخر الآية .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
