Quanto all’uomo, allorché il suo Signore lo mette alla prova onorandolo e colmandolo di favore, egli dice: «Il mio Signore mi ha onorato».

قوله تعالى : فأما الإنسان يعني الكافر . قال ابن عباس : يريد عتبة بن ربيعة وأبا حذيفة بن المغيرة . وقيل : أمية بن خلف . وقيل : أبي بن خلف .إذا ما ابتلاه ربه أي امتحنه واختبره بالنعمة . و ( ما ) : زائدة صلة . فأكرمه بالمال . ونعمه بما أوسع عليه . فيقول ربي أكرمني فيفرح بذلك ولا يحمده .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
