Maka (pada saat itu) mereka akan berkata (dengan menyesal): "Dapatkah kiranya kami diberi tempoh?"

( فيقولوا هل نحن منظرون ) أي : لنؤمن ونصدق ، يتمنون الرجعة والنظرة . قال مقاتل : لما أوعدهم النبي - صلى الله عليه وسلم - بالعذاب ، قالوا : إلى متى توعدنا بالعذاب ؟ متى هذا العذاب ؟
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
