Het is hem (de Satan) voorgeschreven dat wie hem volgt, door hem tot dwaling gebracht wordt, en hij leidt hem tot de bestraffing van de Sa'îr (de Hel).

( كتب عليه ) قضي على الشيطان ( أنه من تولاه ) اتبعه ( فأنه ) يعني الشيطان ( يضله ) أي يضل من تولاه ، ( ويهديه إلى عذاب السعير ) ثم ألزم الحجة على منكري البعث فقال
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
