En Allah dreef de ongelovigen en hun woede (over hun verlies) terug; zij verkregen niets van het goede. En Allah hield (de ongelovigen) af van de gelovigen in de strijd. En Allah is Sterk, Almachtig

(ورد الله الذين كفروا ) من قريش وغطفان ) ( بغيظهم ) لم يشف صدورهم بنيل ما أرادوا ( لم ينالوا خيرا ) ظفرا ( وكفى الله المؤمنين القتال ) بالملائكة والريح ( وكان الله قويا عزيزا ) قويا في ملكه عزيزا في انتقامه .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
