Dat was omdat zij Allah en Zijn Boodschapper bestreden, en wie tegen Allah en zijn Boodschapper strijdt: Allah is hard in de bestraffing.

آیت 13 ذٰلِکَ بِاَنَّہُمْ شَآقُّوا اللّٰہَ وَرَسُوْلَہٗج وَمَنْ یُّشَاقِقِ اللّٰہَ وَرَسُوْلَہٗ فَاِنَّ اللّٰہَ شَدِیْدُ الْعِقَابِ اس کے بعد اب قریش سے براہ راست خطاب ہے۔
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
