( لقد وعدنا نحن وآباؤنا هذا ) الوعد ، ( من قبل ) أي : وعد آباءنا قوم ذكروا أنهم رسل الله فلم نر له حقيقة ، ( إن هذا إلا أساطير الأولين ) أكاذيب الأولين .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
