E se não te atenderem, ficarás sabendo, então, que só seguem as suas luxúrias. Haverá alguém mais desencaminhado doque quem segue sua concupiscência, sem orientação alguma de Deus? Em verdade, Deus não encaminha os iníquos.

قوله تعالى : فإن لم يستجيبوا لك يا محمد بأن يأتوا بكتاب من عند الله فاعلم أنما يتبعون أهواءهم أي آراء قلوبهم وما يستحسنونه ويحببه لهم الشيطان ، وإنه لا حجة لهم .[ ص: 271 ] ومن أضل ممن اتبع هواه بغير هدى من الله أي لا أحد أضل منه إن الله لا يهدي القوم الظالمين .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
