E elevamos o Monte por cima deles, pelo ato de seu pacto, e lhes dissemos: Entrai pelo pórtico da cidade, prostrando-vos; e também lhes dissemos: Não profaneis o Sábado! E obtivemos deles um compromisso solene.

ورفعنا فوق رؤوسهم جبل الطور حين امتنعوا عن الالتزام بالعهد المؤكد الذي أعطوه بالعمل بأحكام التوراة، وأمرناهم أن يدخلوا باب «بيت المقدس» سُجَّدًا، فدخلوا يزحفون على أستاههم، وأمرناهم ألا يَعْتَدُوا بالصيد في يوم السبت فاعتدَوا، وصادوا، وأخذنا عليهم عهدًا مؤكدًا، فنقضوه.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
